About The Institute
MalineniLakshmaiah Women’s Engineering College, (MLEW) has been established in 2008 to leverage ‘education’ as a means of ‘empowerment’ of women. The aim is to promote Technical Education among women to enhance and build-up a new generation of thinkers, innovators and planners in the realms of Science and Technology. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and ISO 9001:2015 Certified Institutionand with the recognition of Govt. of A.P, MLEW is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU-K), Kakinada. Since the inception of the college, the college has been taking in students and growing in facilities year after year. Aesthetically landscaped, the sprawling campus of the college is home to the finest facilities and contemporary instructional infrastructure. Every student of MALINENI can be assured that this institution will provide them a very congenial academic ambience and the right type of inputs in order to mould them with the right technical competence as required by the industry. The teaching-learning process is carried out through the use of overhead and LCD projectors. The college boosts facilities such as an extensive computer center, library, advanced lab for communication skills, internet center, spacious seminar halls and Digital Classrooms.
Vision
To be a pioneer institute in engineering education, fostering academic excellence, and producing empowered women engineers, blended with ethics and values, to serve the society.
Mission
1. To achieve academic excellence through innovative
teaching-learning practices.
2. To inculcate self-discipline, ethics, and values amongst the
learners .
3. To bridge the gap between industry and academia through the
